
Douglas V. Fant is a native Phoenician and graduated with a B.A. in History and German from Stanford University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School. He is one of the most prominent and high-profile corporate attorneys in the United States States. He has served as lead counsel for some of the largest companies in the world including completing some of the largest North American and International transactions in corporate history. His work helped shape government law and global policies over the past four and a half decades, which are still in place in the United States and globally. Douglas has an unparalleled and distinguished reputation in both the legal community and the corporate world. He holds licenses in the States of California, Nevada, Texas and Washington, D.C.
Having graduated with honors from Stanford University with a B. A and then Stanford Law School, by earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree. He went on to graduate and receive a Diploma from the prestigious, Wirtschaftsdeutsch International-Goethe Institut, in Germany. He is certified as a Litigation Specialist and has tried cases in various State Justice & Superior Courts, Federal District Court and Administration Agency Litigation. His representation set new case law that paved the way for changes in both law and policies in corporate & government environmental and energy sectors. He has authored countless publications in leading academic journals.
Douglas started his career as a legal clerk in the U.S. Senate Committee on Interior & Insular Affairs and subsequently served as an Honors Program Attorney in energy and environmental issues for the United States Department of Interior. Having previously served as lead attorney for Mobil Oil Corporation, he led the way as a pioneer to implement and change policies and manage global risk in the oil & energy sectors. He also has led as General Counsel for the State of Arizona managing the Hoover Dam Power Generation System.
Douglas is a lead attorney for many U.S and international conglomerates representing disruptive technologies and next-generation renewable energy, clean nuclear electricity and hydrogen-based technologies.
