ABOUT OUR FOUNDING ATTORNEY: DOUGLAS V. FANT, ESQ
Douglas V. Fant, is a prominent, high-profile corporate attorney in the United States. He has served as lead counsel and represented some of the largest companies in the world. He is responsible for completing some of corporate history’s largest North American and International transactions.
His work in both corporate and legal work has helped shape government law and global policies over the past four and a half decades, setting precedents which are still in place today in both the United States and globally.
He has built an unparalleled and distinguished reputation in both the legal and corporate worlds through the establishment of case precedents through legal jurisprudence as well as through contributions that led to regulatory and legislative changes. He is a member of the Bar in the States of California, Texas, Arizona and Washington D.C.
He graduated receiving both his B.A. in history and German from Stanford University and holds a J.D. degree from Stanford Law School. He further went on to obtain a Diplom Wirtschaftsdeutsch International from the prestigious Goethe Institut.
He has served as a law clerk to the U.S. Senate Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs and subsequently as an Honors Program Attorney in energy and environmental issues for the United States Department of the Interior.
Mr. Fant has served as Lead EHS/Transportation Attorney for Mobil Oil Corporation for the Western Hemisphere and later led the charge as EHS Manager for the Mobil West business entity. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Houston Partnership and as President of the Houston Chamber of Commerce. He has served as General Counsel to the Arizona Power Authority representing the State of Arizona’s interest in the Hoover Dam.
